(Douglasville)- The Douglas County Emergency Management Agency is announcing the launch of its 2025 Community Preparedness Survey. This crucial initiative aims to gauge the current level of emergency readiness among Douglas County Residents and identify areas where the EMA can enhance its support, education, and resources.
Data collected from this brief, anonymous survey will be used in shaping the county’s future emergency response and disaster mitigation strategies. Specifically, the EMA will use the insights to:
- Tailor Training and Outreach
- Improve Resource Allocation
- Enhance Communication
The survey, which should take approximately three to five minutes to complete, is available via the Douglas County website or the Douglas County Emergency Management Agency Facebook page. It will remain open until December 23, 2025.
“Community involvement is the cornerstone of effective emergency management,” said James Queen, Director of Emergency Management. “This survey is more than just data collection; it’s a direct conversation with our residents. Honest citizen feedback is vital to building a more resilient community. By sharing your preparedness level and concerns, you are helping us protect life and property in Douglas County.”
The Douglas County Emergency Management Agency is dedicated to protecting the citizens and resources of Douglas County from the effects of natural and man-made disasters through an integrated program of mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
