During Douglas County Chairman Romona Jackson Jones' Virtual Town Hall Meeting, County Health Officials provided a Public Health Update for Douglas County Presentation, which covered various topics such as Monkeypox and COVID-19 update.
Douglas County is back in a high transmission. Residents are urged to wear a mask indoors in public places, stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines, get tested for symptoms, and take additional precautions if you are at high risk for severe illness.
