Douglas County T-SPLOST
TSPLOST stands for Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax. This additional sales tax generates revenue to fund transportation improvements across the county. Residents will vote via referendum on whether or not to approve and fund the investment in transportation infrastructure.

Douglas County T-SPLOST
TSPLOST is a 5-year program if implemented by the county only, with an option to extend to six years, provided an IGA is executed with the cities.

All residents and non-residents who shop for goods and services within Douglas County limits will contribute to this tax revenue.

If approved by voters in November 2024, collections will begin on April 1, 2025.

The project list will only include transportation improvement projects focused on improving safety, relieving congestion, and enhancing mobility for the residents. The preliminary project list can be found on the TSPLOST webpage: douglascountyga.gov/TSPLOST. A final project list will be formed after five community engagement sessions and upon receiving the cities’ final project list.

- July 27th, Ephesus Baptist Church (8445 Ephesus Church Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180), at 10 AM

- August 13th, location – TBD, at 6 PM
- August 27th, Boundary Waters Activity Center (4996 Highway 92, Douglasville, GA), at 6 PM
