As kittens grow, they need safe exploration and positive human interaction. Foster homes provide the space to learn, play, and thrive away from the shelter.

Transition to Adoption
At ~8 weeks, kittens typically move to foster-to-adopt homes and remain until reaching the minimum surgery weight (3 lbs) for spay/neuter. Families may choose to complete surgery independently; however, financial support is not available for private procedures. After surgery, we finalize the adoption.
