The Douglas County Community Services Provider Program invests in projects that support the delivery of essential services and unmet needs of Douglas County citizens. The goal of the Douglas County Community Services Program is to improve the lives of Douglas County residents by supporting activities in the areas of Arts & Culture, Community Development, and Health & Human Services. Funded organizations deliver programs that promote health, safety, stability, and overall well-being for citizens that are aligned with the County’s priorities and strategic plan.

Applicants must meet the following baseline criteria to be eligible for Community Services Provider Program funding:

  • Demonstrate that the organization has the administrative resources to administer funds and to implement and oversee the program or service
  • Agree to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the County and adhere to programmatic and financial reporting requirements

Eligible participants are allowed to complete one application per organization. Eligible applicants include:

  • Nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations operating in Douglas County with a mission that is consistent with serving the County’s areas of need

OR

  • Faith-based organizations (funding cannot be used for religious activities and must be used to support a project within the faith-based organization that benefits all county citizens; operational support is not allowed unless specifically associated with a proposed project; ex. a church-run food bank that serves all of Douglas County residents)

AND
